BUDDING BRILLIANCE ANNOUNCES LEARNING ASSESSMENT TOY WITH CONCLUSIVE RESULTS ON HOW CHILDREN AGES TWO TO SIX LEARN
Crowdfunding campaign will be launched in Spring 2015:
LAGUNA BEACH, CA – Budding Brilliance, LLC, a technology and child learning company, announces its new product, The Edge Learning Toy. Designed for children ages two to six years old, this fun and interactive toy identifies a child’s learning strengths and weaknesses during the period of fastest brain development.
Tina Hertensen, CEO and Founder of Budding Brilliance says, “It is surprising how little we still understand about how and when our children learn. Current learning ability tools include observation and standardized testing that cannot be conclusively administered at an early age, so I sought to develop a child-friendly product that utilizes modern technology to definitively analyze how children learn.”
Years of hard work and ingenuity led to the development of The Edge Learning Toy, which integrates with iPads, tablets and smart phone devices to interact with children and process information. Once children complete a series of games, The Edge Learning Toy provides a detailed report of conclusive data about their learning channels. It also suggests playtime activities that parents and teachers can implement to help children improve their weakest learning areas.
Of The Edge Learning Toy’s potential, Hertensen says, “Our proposed diagnostic tool affords teachers, parents and caregivers the ability to perform testing for learning abilities as early as two years old. This allows for early detection, treatment and conditioning to help children enter into mainstream educational programs much sooner and be poised for success.”
Now parents and teachers can rely on more than vague observation of a child’s abilities. The Edge Learning Toy helps parents and teachers adapt to their children’s unique ways of learning, identify strengths and weaknesses with non-stressful interaction, and provide effective intervention at an early age.
Dr. Katina Matthews-Ferrari, PhD, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, says, “Parents have always asked me for suggestions on games, toys and programs that would help them understand how their children learn and that would benefit their learning. Unlike conventional and expensive products, The Edge Learning Toy is simple, understandable and accessible.”
Once its product is launched into the market, Budding Brilliance aims to develop an entire line of toys, games and applications that identify and improve cognitive learning for children from birth to six years of age as well as recommend toys on the market that best suit their child’s learning style. The Edge Learning Toy will retail for $189.99, which includes on-test feedback report valued at $29.99. It is recommended that children take the test every three months to follow growth and development. Additional tests can be purchased in bulk as low $15.99 each.
